SCAN——MODEL——PRINT——VERIFY

SCAN

Most of what comes through the door isn’t in any parts catalog anymore — it’s the original piece off your car, sometimes the only one left running. Our Revopoint MetroY Ultra CMM Edition captures that geometry non-destructively, with volumetric accuracy down to 0.0005″–0.0007″, so nothing gets cut, sanded, or risked to get an exact digital reference.
That level of accuracy matters more on a warped, sun-faded, 40-year-old bracket than it does on something fresh off a mold — the scan captures the wear right along with the shape, so what comes out the other end reflects the real part, not a rough approximation of it.

  • Non-contact capture — your original part goes back in your hands the same day, not shipped off or altered
  • Handles dark, reflective, low-detail automotive plastics and metals without needing spray coating in most cases
  • Full-color texture capture for badges, trim, and cosmetic parts where finish and markings matter
  • Marker-based tracking for larger pieces — dash panels, brackets, interior housings
  • Point clouds processed and aligned in Revo Metro, ready to move into modeling

MODEL

A scan of a cracked, faded, or missing-a-corner part isn’t a finished model — it’s a starting point. We rebuild it in Fusion 360 as a fully parametric solid, or in Rhino as a clean organic surface, correcting for the damage and wear the scan picked up so the finished model reflects the part as it was designed, not as it survived.
Anywhere the part has to actually function — mounting bosses, snap tabs, threaded inserts — we rebuild those as real, dimensional features, not a shape traced over a mesh.

  • Reconstructs damaged or missing sections back to the original design intent
  • Fully parametric, editable models — not a static mesh you’re stuck with
  • Wall thickness and mounting features rebuilt for 3D-printed durability, not just visual accuracy

PRINT

Automotive parts live under real stress — heat, sun, vibration, and road grime. We print on a Bambu Lab H2C, an enclosed, actively heated system (up to a 65°C chamber, 350°C nozzle) built for engineering-grade materials like ABS, ASA, PC, and carbon- or glass-fiber-reinforced filaments, not hobby-grade PLA.
Material gets picked for where the part actually lives on the car — ASA where UV and weather resistance matter, reinforced filament for non-structural under-hood components exposed to heat and vibration, standard ABS for interior pieces that just need to hold their shape and color.

  • Weather- and UV-stable materials for exterior trim and badges
  • Impact-resistant, reinforced options for non-structural brackets and load-bearing parts
  • Real-time AI print monitoring (59 sensors, quad-camera vision) catches defects mid-print, before they ruin a part
  • One-off parts or small batches — print exactly the quantity your project needs

VERIFY

A reproduced part is only as good as its fit. Every finished piece gets checked against the scanned geometry and the corrected CAD model before it ships — dimensions, mounting points, clearances — so it goes on the car the way the original did, not close enough.
That inspection discipline comes from Six Sigma and AS9100-aligned quality systems — the same standards aerospace suppliers are held to, applied here to a part that just needs to bolt up right.

  • Dimensional inspection against CAD, including GD&T checks where they apply
  • Fit and function verified before a part ships, not left for you to find out
  • Inspection documentation available on request

What We Take On — and What We Don’t

Every reproduced part goes back on a real car, so we’re upfront about scope. We work in cosmetic and non-structural territory — parts that don’t carry structural or safety load.

What we reproduce

  • Interior trim, bezels, knobs, clips, and covers
  • Exterior cosmetic trim and badges
  • Housings, ducts, and low-load brackets
  • Under-hood components that don’t carry structural or safety load

What we don’t

  • Structural components
  • Braking, steering, or suspension parts
  • Fuel-system components
  • Restraint-system components (seatbelts, airbag hardware, etc.)

Not sure which category your part falls into? Send photos and we’ll tell you plainly before any work starts.

Built for cars nobody makes parts for anymore

Scan, model, print, and verify happen under one roof, with the same process discipline used in aerospace-grade quality systems — applied here to the discontinued bracket, the cracked bezel, and the part your car’s parts book gave up on years ago. That same process scales as the shop grows; for now, the focus is on hard-to-find automotive parts.
